About BuyFoodTogether

BuyFoodTogether helps neighbours buy local food together. By gathering orders before anyone pays, a community can buy directly from the farms, bakeries, and producers nearby — at fair prices, with less waste, and more of every dollar staying local.

We started from a simple idea: good food is better bought together. A shop wanted to carry loaves from the bakery down the street, and found that gathering orders first made it work for everyone — the baker, the shop, and the people eating the bread.

We build for trust. Organizers get the tools to run a clean, transparent group buy; buyers get a clear page showing exactly what they are reserving and when they will be charged. Our aim is to be the most trustworthy way to organize a local food buy — not the most extractive.
